The White House recognizes the Europeans lose because of anti-Russian sanctions

The White House said that the European countries have to contend with difficulties due to the introduction of restrictive measures against Moscow. Despite all the losses the sanctions regime should be maintained. This position of the US authorities was announced by Ben Rhodes, national security adviser of Vice President of the United States.

At the same official said that the United States recognizes that some countries were in a difficult situation because of the sanctions. The measures were to hit the Russian economy, but in the end hit the countries whose governments supported their introduction: Moscow responded and put a grocery embargo.
Due to the fact that European and Russian economies are more interdependent than Russian and American ones, the Europeans are the part most damaged by the sanctions.
