Azerbaijan started a struggle against the supporters of Gulen

The Azerbaijani authorities are intent on identifying all of the supporters of preacher Fethullah Gülen. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, head of the department for external relations Novruz Mammadov. According to Mammadov, along with Turkey, the investigation of the case Gülen also held in Azerbaijan, as Gülen’ organization is associated with certain structures of the opposition in the country.

Earlier Azerbaijan Prosecutor's Office opened a criminal case in order to prevent illegal actions of supporters of Fethullah Gülen. Turkish authorities accused Fethillah Gulen of organizing military coup in the country.
