On September 26th in Azerbaijan, a referendum is scheduled on amendments to the Constitution. The plebiscite was proposed by President Ilham Aliyev. The public will decide the fate of amendments to the 29 articles of the Basic Law.
The consequent Azeri-Turkish-Iranian joint coordination in defending against the appearance of a suddenly pro-Western Armenian state in between them would be manipulated by the unipolar media into a new ‘Clash of Civilizations’, playing off of the fact that these three states are Muslims while the two Western-aligned ones are Christian.
