Nikki Haley (Nimrata "Nikki" Randhawa), the 116th Governor of South Carolina is likely to be appointed as the US ambassador to the UN. But she earlier said that she didn’t agree with all Trump’s ideas.

Haley, an American of Indian origin, is very popular in her "native" state, which is considered to be the most conservative one in the United States. She represented Lexington County in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 to 2011; however, Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin’s favor helped her to win in the gubernatorial election.

Earlier Tulsi Gabbard was considered for this position. But now she may take a more strategic post - Secretary of State or the head of the Pentagon.
