In the run-up of the humanitarian pause, October 20 the Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Arab Air Forces have suspended air strikes in the area of Aleppo.

The Russian Minister of Defense Sergey Shoygu added: «Today the Russian Aerospace Forces and Syrian Arab Air Force have stopped air strikes in the region of Aleppo from 10 am… It will contribute to the success of work of the military experts from a number of states, which will begin tomorrow in Geneva. This work will be focused primarily on the separation of terrorists from the «moderate opposition» and their withdrawal from the eastern part of Aleppo. The group of Russian military experts have already arrived in Geneva to work together».

The «overseas owners» of the terrorists have to convince them to leave Aleppo for two humanitarian corridors.  Military experts from Washington have already arrived to help fighters on passing through the corridors.

At the same time, six humanitarian corridors were created for civilians, which are guarded by the Syrian Armed Forces. However, Syrian sources informed that the terrorists hinder the exit of civilians from dangerous areas and limit access for those who is in need of humanitarian aids.

Kremlin urges countries, which have influence on the fighters, to influence them.
