Terrorist prisons found in Aleppo

The First Deputy Head of the Main Operations Department at the Russian General Staff Lieutenant General Viktor Poznikhir reported this information during the briefing, the main theme of which was the situation in Aleppo.

He said that during the humanitarian mission of demining and clearing the city in the basements of some buildings there were found ISIS prisons, where residents were tortured. Viktor Poznikhir also added that on the eve of the liberation of the city the most part of prisoners was executed, stressing that the so-called “moderate” opposition was responsible for.

Lieutenant General Viktor Poznikhir said: “I would like to note that in some cases among those who tortured and murdered civilians were members of armed groups of the so-called moderate opposition, which, as the West is claiming, allegedly defends Syrian from the current authorities. All evidence recovered will be systematized and referred to the relevant international organization for legal assessment”.
