South Korea: chief of National Pension Service arrested

In connection with the investigation of the corruption scandal around the South Korean President, the Chairman of the National Pension Service (NPS), Moon Hyung-pyo’s served earlier as Minister of health of South Korea was detained.

Moon Hyung-pyo's has confessed that he put pressure on the pension fund in order to maintain profitable for Choi Soon-sil, a close friend of the President and those close to her funds.
