Putin: ‘thorough investigation of the crash causes’ carried out

On December 26 th a nationwide day of mourning will start in Russia to honor the memory of those who died in the Russian defence force Tu-154 aircraft crash.

About 100 people were on board. Among them there were musicians of the Alexandrov Ensemble, journalists and a pediatrician and charity activist Elizaveta Glinka (also known as Dr. Liza).

Among the versions of the crash causes there is a technical failure or an error of piloting, any terrorist attack is excluded.

Vladimir Putin said: “A thorough investigation of the crash causes will be carried out and all efforts will be taken to support the families of the victims. The government has been ordered to set up a commission that will be headed by the transport minister”.
