Putin: Entry of Turkish troops into Syria was no surprise for Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that relations between Russia and Turkey is gradually restored.

"With regard to the restoration of our bilateral relations, the work is going, going according to plan, not as fast as our Turkish partners would like ", - said the head of state at a press conference after the G20 summit, also known"Big Twenty".

The Russian president also said Moscow is waiting for results of the investigation into the murder of Turkish Russian pilot of the Su-24. The Head of State said that the restoration of Russia's relations with Turkey related in particular to the investigation of the death of Russian pilots. "This is due to the fact that  Turkey arrested the pilot, which dealt a blow to our plane, and arrested a man who, in the territory of Syria, shot our pilots, who ejected", - Putin said.

He also said that the Russian Federation was not surprised by the entry of Turkish military forces into Syria. "As for surprises, we have  the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the special services, so that we have fewer surprises," - said the head of state at the G20 summit at the end of the press conference.
