Bolivia celebrates 11th anniversary of Cultural Revolution

More than a hundred thousand people have gathered to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Evo Morales’s victory. The event was held in Ivirgarsama, which was Morales’s stronghold and his supporters in the political struggle against the neoliberal pro-American government.

The Presidents of Ecuador and Venezuela have also participated in this celebration. These countries, together with Bolivia and Cuba are part of the ALBA alliance (formally the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America).
