Montenegro's parliament supported the resolution on accession to NATO

Montenegro's parliament after two days of discussion supported the resolution on the country's accession to NATO. The live broadcast was carried on the website of the Parliament.

The resolution was proposed by the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists of Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic. For the adoption of the document voted 48 MPs spoke against the adoption of 26 deputies. At the same time, according to parliamentarians themselves, the document will have no impact on the process of Montenegro's integration into NATO.

The ceremony of signing Montenegro's accession into NATO took place at 19th May. After mass protests and a number of scandals, the government of Milo Djukanovic has completed Washington's task of the forced integration of the country into NATO.

Montenegro's accession to NATO is primarily an attack on Russian positions. As a result, the alliance strengthens its positions in the Balkans. In addition, this event also has a negative impact on Serbia: it will be almost entirely surrounded by NATO member states and partner countries.
