Austria and Balkan States against migrants
Austria and nine Balkan States agreed to reduce the refugee influxes in Europe. On February 24, Vienna hosted the foreign and home ministers of Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Albania,
Bosnia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia to discuss the strategy to settle the migration crisis. The results of the meeting is to be presented on Thursday, on February 25, at the meeting with the EU member-states’ foreign ministers.
As the result of the meeting, the joint statement with the indication of means and models to settle the European migration crisis was created. It considers that the countries, signed this joint statement is to:
- Unified the rules of refugees’ registration
- If the refugees have no document or forged documents, they will not allowed on the territory of the states.
