Sweden and Finland step up military cooperation

“Defence cooperation between Finland and Sweden has taken some important steps recently," the prime ministers of both countries, Juha Sipila and Stefan Lofven, said in a joint statement, citing "joint exercises, increased information exchange and shared use of each other’s ports and airports.” They said threats in Europe are "serious."
