There’s so much going on in US politics right now that it’s hard to know what to write about.
The faction of the incumbent government is on the brink of collapse, despite the victory over the Islamic State. On 12 May, the first parliamentary elections were held since the victory over terrorists. The elections in Iraq are led by Shiite clerics led by Muqtada al-Sadr and the pro-Iranian alliance.
If we can thank Barack Hussein Obama for creating the conditions that produced ISIS, we can only hope that Donald Trump will fulfil his promise and wipe them off the face of the earth in partnership, perhaps, with Russia, Syria, Egypt, and Iran.
