Iraqi Army liberate four Villages from DAESH in Nineveh Province

Today, Iraqi security forces have liberated 4 villages – l-Hwaysh, al-Jowa’na, al-Jable and al-Ghazieh – from the ISIS terrorist group in the province of Nineveh. The villages are localted near the strategic town of Qayyara where clashes are still ongoing between Iraqi security forces and ISSI militants.

On August 15, Iraqi security forces and its allies from the Iraqi Popular Mobilization units launched a military operation southeast of the ISIS stronghold of Mosul in order to set a foothold for liberations of this major city. The operation is coordinated with the Kurdish Pesherga that has been also advancing in the Mosul countryside.
