US reduces military assistance to Saudi Arabia

The USA has decided to reduce supplies of high-precision weapons to Saudi Arabia. The official reason for this decision was the information about numerous reports of large numbers of victims among the civilian population, as a result of Saudi strikes on Yemen.

However, it could be also connected with the cooling in the US-Saudi relations, also with rising oil prices caused by the agreement on reducing the oil production, which, contrary to the opinion of the White House, was signed by Riyadh. Besides, Washington's decision to save on its allies is not the one purpose, but also limiting supplies of the most expensive and destructive weapons to Saudi Arabia.
