Trump considers NATO not being effective

President Donald Trump dissatisfies with NATO's activities and considers its work as being not effective.

According to White House press secretary Sean Spicer, Donald Trump has repeatedly stated his position regarding NATO.

Trump said in an interview with the Times of London before his inauguration, that NATO was obsolete “because it was, you know, designed many, many years ago,” and “because it wasn't taking care of terror.”

Moreover, Sean Spicer has also added that the Trump’s administration has ideas about how to reform NATO making it more effective.
