South Korea is, against the background of its own political crisis, concerned about possible changes in the South Korean-US relations after the victory of Donald Trump. Trump said earlier that the United States would withdraw its troops from the countries where they were without the consent of the governments. Moreover, the USA will also strongly reconsider the bases on which armed forces are,  for example, in South Korea, Japan and some other countries that have signed the corresponding agreement.

Seoul is going to create a special commission responsible for monitoring of economic indicators of the country, stock prices.

Kim Gwang-lim, Saenuri's chief policymaker said: «The bigger picture in terms of the alliance and North Korean policies will remain unchanged. Although there may be some pressures on cost sharing, we believe his request will change if Trump learns more about the circumstances».
