The scandal between France and Poland

France has withdrawn an invitation to the oncoming naval exhibition «Euronaval»from the Polish delegation. In this way Paris responded to the breaking of contract on deliveries of military transport helicopters, which the representative of the French Ministry of Defence Valérie Lecasble called «aggressive and unjust”.

She added: «France has shown solidarity with Poland through the European Union and NATO, but Warsaw has failed to reciprocate».

Moreover, Francois Hollande has canceled his visit to Poland.

The Polish Deputy Defence Minister Bartosz Kownacki declared: «The French side officially invited us a long time ago and now they are showing us the door...But these are the people we taught to eat with a fork a couple of centuries ago, which may explain their behavior today».
