Marine Le Pen will initiate a referendum to withdraw France from the EU

The leader of the "National Front" of France, Marine Le Pen  speaking today in the European Parliament has once again confirmed the readiness to hold a referendum on the country's membership in the EU, if she is elected president.

She recalled that the referendum - is the best tool of democracy.

"Leave the nations the right to be free to leave them to cooperate at the level at which they want to." - She urged the European authorities, reports TASS.

Earlier, a referendum on membership in the European Union was held in the UK. Most of the voters (51.9%) were in favor of the country's exit from the European Union (Brexit).

Marine Le Pen then called the British results of the referendum victory and called for a plebiscite in France.
