Fire at premises of Association of Russian-Serbian Friendship in Kosovska Mitrovica

The premises of Association of Russian-Serbian Friendship “Grigoriy Stepanovich Scherbin” in Kosovska Mitrovica, in the occupied Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, are completely destroyed in fire this morning. The premises were used by People Movement “Otadžbina” and by MP in the Parliament of Serbia, Mr Slaviša Ristić.

Fire started this morning around 3am, caused huge material damage and flame was raised off the ground where the premises were, up to the third floor of the building, from which the tenants evacuated in a panic.

So-called “Kosovo police” has reported that they do not know yet what was the cause of the fire.

The Association of Russian-Serbian Friendship has reported their doubts that the fire was set.
