Europeans protest against the TTIP

In Madrid mass protests against the ratification of the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and a major free trade deal between the United States and Canada.

Similar protests earlier took place in 35 French cities, including Paris, where it has become a part of the national day of protest against the TTIP and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement with Canada.

These agreements promoted by the North America, particularly by the United States, will lead to an increase of unemployment in Europe and deteriorating the living standards. Especially it will affect mostly the EU countries, because of the European crisis (such as the migration crisis in France and Germany and the economic crisis in Spain, Portugal, Greece).
