Egypt to give islands to Saudi Arabia

Egypt's government has approved the agreement, signed this year in April on the transfer of Tiran and Sanafir to Saudi Arabia, controlling the output from the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea.

The next step will be the ratification of the agreement in parliament.

Earlier, the court recognized this Egyptian treaty with Saudi Arabia illegally, but later the court's decision was canceled.
