Djukanovic is ordered to leave

The sources of «Katehon» in Montenegro report that Milo Djukanovic will not lead the new government.

The ruling Democratic Party of Socialists nominated his long-standing protégéDusko Markovic. Nevertheless, this populist step would not change the political course of Montenegro. But perhaps, the appointment of a new prime minister could help avoid tensions after the elections, during which the Democratic Party of Socialists came again to power by criminal means: such as using multiple violations and administrative resources.

The information about the possibility of such outcome had appeared before the elections.  During the Munich Security Conference in Munich the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic was ordered to leave his office after the elections, as was published in the Belgrade media.
