Dana Boente defends Trump’s executive order on executive order on immigration

After the refusal of Sally Q. Yates to defend his executive order on immigration in court, President Donald J. Trump appointed Dana J. Boente, the United States attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to be acting attorney general.

Dana J. Boente reported: “Our career department employees were defending the action in court, and I expect that’s what they’ll do tomorrow, appropriately and properly.”
