China wants alliance with Russia to defend the sovereignty

Xi Jinping urged President Vladimir Putin to strengthen the political cooperation of Russia and China

Mutual political support of Russia and China should be strengthened, including the protection of sovereignty, said President Xi Jinping during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit fields.

"Our countries have even tighter strengthen all-round cooperation, enhance mutual political support, the support of other countries for the protection of sovereignty", - the Chinese leader declared.

The head of China said that in June, Moscow and Beijing have signed a large package of agreements, which shows a deep level of cooperation, the two countries' common position on international issues. According to him, Russia is also playing an important role in promoting the healthy and stable development of the world economy.

"I am confident that your participation in the G20 summit, will contribute to the positive outcome of this forum" - Chinese President said, referring to Putin.
