Ankara ratifies «Turkish Stream»

Turkish-Russian agreement on the construction of a natural gas pipeline «Turkish Stream» has been ratified by a majority of members of parliament, only 7 of which voted against, 210 voted for this construction.

Now, the agreement must be only signed by the President, and then will enter into force. Most likely, it will happen in the near future.

Moreover, the ratification has happened exactly after Sergei Lavrov’s visit to Turkey.
