44 people killed by ISIS bomb attack in Syria's Qamishli

A massive bomb has killed at least 44 people in the northern Syrian town of Qamishli, state media say.

Reports say that among the casualties are civilians and members of the security forces.

At least 140 people were also injured when a terrorist in a vehicle laden with explosives blew himself up in a western neighborhood of the city on Wednesday.

The Islamic State militant group (ISIS) claimed responsibility the attack via its Amaq news agency.
