Democrats are LEAVING the Party in Droves
The second trend we are seeing is a comparable movement known as Blexit. Blexit being of course a term that signifies Black Americans declaring their independence from the Democratic Party. On average, blacks vote around 87 percent for the liberal Democrat candidate.[1] Blexit is a movement that seeks to end that secular liberal cultural Marxist hegemony over the black vote here in the States. The Blexit campaign was founded by the wonderful Candace Owens, who is a very young and powerful voice in the conservative movement And I think the potential for Blexit is enormous. A Zogby survey released in May of last year found that black support for the Democrats was down 20 percent since January, which is a 20 percent decline in a matter of six months.[2] Another relatively recent poll surveyed black women; it was a Black Women’s Roundtable/ESSENCE poll and it found that black women, who are in many respects the heart of the black voting constituency for the Democratic Party, they were noticeably abandoning the party. According to the survey back in 2016, black women supported the Democratic Party by an overwhelming 85 percent; but in 2018, that number fell to 74 percent, an 11 point drop.[3] Moreover, Trump’s approval among blacks has been as high as the mid-30s, which is stunning for a Republican President. Rasmussen, if I recall, had Trump around a 35 percent approval rating among particularly black men. Blexit is happening, and it is significantly contributing to the mass exodus that is going on from the Democratic Party.
There has been a THIRD exodus and this one is huge! Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA has called them the ‘beer drinking Democrats’ exit. These are your blue collar manufacturing workers, factory workers, who have historically voted exclusively Democrat, but who defected in droves to vote for Trump. I never get tired of citing this statistic from the 2016 election there were over 200 counties that had voted for the Democratic presidential candidate in every election since 1984 by a 20 point margin that suddenly swung over and voted for Trump by a comparable 20 point margin. You have to let that hit you! I think it is a major indicator of this massive political tectonic shift that is going on. County after county after county in Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, after having voted for Mondale and then for Dukakis and Clinton twice and Al Gore, Kerry, and then Obama twice, over 200 counties, that voted for the Democrat by a 20 point margin for the last three decades, all of a sudden, to the shock of pollsters and pundits alike, turned around and voted for Donald Trump by a comparable 20 point margin. These were 40 point swings to the nationalist populist right. Trump won the so-called Blue Wall, right? these were the states that Hillary was guaranteed to win because every Democratic presidential candidate since the 1984 has won them. She was supposed to win Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. Of all 5 states, she only won Minnesota and that was only by 40 thousand votes! Trump demolished the blue wall precisely because of this mass defection among so-called beer drinking Democrats, blue collar Democrats who never thought they could vote Republican, but could vote for Trump.
Now a fourth exodus that is happening is among what are being called ‘Wall Street Democrats’. CNBC has been following the big Wall Street donors to the Democratic Party, and see whom they have been putting their money behind. One thing that keeps coming up among these fat cat Democratic donors is that if Elizabeth Warren gets the nomination, they are sitting this election out, or even some have said that they are voting for Trump. Wall Street does not want Warren anywhere near them. The genius of Trump is that he has been able to implement an economic nationalism that both protects manufacturing jobs on the one hand and stimulates the markets on the other. Warren would actually be a disaster on both fronts, at least that is what the top donors to the Democrats feel. This is the fourth group that has the potential of walking away. Put that all together, with these four groups all walking away, and you have the makings of a disastrous 2020 for the Democrats. We shall see how this will all play out.
