Conquer the proud: the EU imposed sanctions against Hungary
On September 13, the European Parliament approved sanctions against Hungary. Two-thirds of European deputies have launched a penalty mechanism that could deprive Budapest of the right to vote in the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe, along with the European Parliament - one of the two legislative bodies of the European Union.
In what do they accuse Hungary? If officially, the European Parliament believes that the authorities of this central European country violate the principles of democracy, human rights and the rule of law. A serious accusation, is not it?
The European Union wants to force Hungary to yield on two key issues - refugees and NGOs.
In 2016, the EU approved a plan for the distribution of refugees who flooded the block a year earlier. Of the approximately 160,000 illegal immigrants who settled in Greece and Italy, Hungary had to accept 1,300. While France and Germany are willing to accept migrants, Hungary and other Eastern Europeans are resisting this process.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban openly calls migrants "Muslim invaders." To some extent, the Hungarians can be understood. After all, this is not Germany with an 80 million population, for which even 1 million foreigners are not so scary. The Hungarians are only 9 million, and the country's population continues to decline.
Orban is fighting not only against migrants, but also those who support them. Here the enemy number one is not even Brussels, but American philanthropist George Soros. Through his NGO "Open Society" Soros promotes the globalist agenda throughout Europe. The constituent parts of this agenda are: depriving countries of their sovereignty, legalizing same-sex marriages and changing the demographic composition of Europe.
Victor Orban once said that Soros, in collusion with Brussels, intends to flood the Old World with Muslim migrants. In another speech, the Prime Minister said that when Hungary holds parliamentary elections, then they are represented by two parties - the ruling Fidesz and Soros.
Actually, for this reason Orban recently covered Soros fund in Hungary. For which he incurred the wrath of the guardians of democracy.
Thus, with the help of sanctions, the European Union is simultaneously solving two tasks. On the one hand, Orban is forced to accept as many refugees as possible, on the other - to submit to the globalist changes, that is, Soros.
Despite the danger of the situation for Hungary, it is premature to talk about the victory of Soros and Brussels. After all, for the adoption of penal measures, the approval of the Council of the European Union is required. And the nationally oriented ministers sitting there can take a very different decision than the pro-European deputies of the European Parliament.
If the EU Council approves the penalty measures, then there may be three options for the development of events. Orbans will give up and make concessions on NGOs and migrants. Either he will resist, and the people will support him - then he can even reach the referendum on membership in the EU. Alternatively, the Hungarian leader will fight to the last, and his opponents will raise a wave of popular protest in order to achieve the resignation of Orban. And the new Hungarian authorities that have come to replace him will do whatever they are told by their guardians from Brussels, Strasbourg and Luxembourg.
