I think that many readers were already grown up when the Berlin Wall collapsed. This wall is now a museum exhibit. It is dismantled in bricks, in pieces, in concrete fragments. This is such a collapsed barrier between the new and old Europe. At the same time, people do not notice that the world is walled on all sides.

Hungary is building a wall to protect against migrants from the Balkan countries. Jews successfully erect a barrier against Palestinian autonomy. Americans are at war with the Mexicans through the wall still under construction.

Fences are growing all over Europe, all over the world. There is a "wallbuilding desease", which makes you shudder.

So Lithuania decided not to stay away. What are the Lithuanian guys worse than Mexicans or Americans? They decided to build a large wall on the border with the Russian Federation, a length of more than 44 kilometers. They want to protect themselves from someone.

Mankind is sick with this disease. Europe is no longer just sick, it dies, it has become accustomed to living on drugs, trying to get rid of the pain symptoms. The construction of walls means that humanity has entered a dead-end phase.

And how beautiful it all began! There were no borders. Money, capital, and labor could move freely. Countries freely exchanged information. But it took only 15-20 years, and all began to bristle with fences, machine guns, missile defense systems, move the borders of NATO, create nuclear bases, and fuel fears about various dangers.

The fences will grow, they will be long, but useless. Just like the fence between Ukraine and Russia, erected on stolen money.
