I think the fact that the mainstream media continues to focus on Russia is partly evidence that the opposition here is really coming from the Deep State, from Democratic operatives and a few people from the Republican Party - they all are dedicated to achieving one end, which is to bring down the Trump Administration. They want to stage a color revolution and overturn the results of the elections. Therefore, they keep on beating the drum: “It’s the Russians, the Russians hacked the CIA.” They don’t have anything else! So, I think, they will use any excuse to keep coming back to that. We are hearing just a lot of speculation.
I don't think that anybody is really surprised about these revelations. Everybody knew that we had very capable technical means for spying on all sorts of people.
One of the incongruous characters to come onto the American political stage is the pseudo-intellectual, Stephen K. Bannon, President Donald Trump's chief strategist. Mr. Bannon sees himself as a "revolutionary" who thinks he can hijack the Leninist theory of dismantling the state apparatus through what he calls the "deconstruction of the administrative state," i.e., the current system of taxes, regulations and trade pacts that the president says "have stymied economic growth and infringed upon U.S. sovereignty”.[i] Although Mr. Bannon claims to have read Lenin’s works, it seems he has failed to study more thoroughly Lenin’s The State and Revolution regarding the apparatus of the state machinery.
The lie that the liberal state sells you is that you are free. The lie that it sells itself is that it is in control.
