President of Lombardy Maroni calls to lift Anti-Russian sanctions

The governor of Lombardy has called for lifting Anti-Russian sanctions. He made such a statement, speaking at the seminar “Italia-Russia: L’arte Dell’innovazione” on Russian-Italian relations in Milan.

According to Roberto Maroni’s twitter, he considers Russia as an indispensable strategic partner in the economic cooperation and fighting against the international terrorism. Moreover, he has also noted the damage to the Italian economic made because of the anti-Russian sanctions.

“La #Russia è partner strategico indispensabile sia per la nostra #economia, sia nella lotta al #terrorismo internazionale.”

“Occorre eliminare le sanzioni alla #Russia: i danni all'economia italiana ammontano a circa 4 miliardi, oltre un terzo alla #Lombardia.”
