There were a series of explosions at a fireworks market on the northern outskirts of Tultepec, Mexico. As a result, at least 36 were killed and 70 were injured.
31 people died on the spot, another 5 have died in hospitals. The number of children, which were affected stronger than the other, will be sent for treatment in the United States.

Witnesses reported that the tragedy was not an accident. Someone lit a flare and ran back to where there were a lot of pyrotechnics. Officials in Mexico have not given any estimates yet, not even calling the incident as a terrorist attack, but not excluding such a version.

Moreover, the Attorney General of Mexico is going to investigate this case related to Mexico's Federal Law on Firearms and Explosives.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has expressed his condolences “to the relatives of those who lost their lives in this accident”.
