Hungary is ready to join the "Turkish Stream"

Hungary wants to diversify gas routes and join the Turkish Stream project.

The Hungarian side is interested in joining the Turkish Stream project, which will allow it to diversify its gas routes. This was announced on Monday by the Ambassador of Hungary in Moscow Norbert Konka.

According to the diplomat, now Budapest receives natural fuel from the Russian side in the Eastern direction, but Hungarian politicians also want to receive gas from the south.

“If the Bulgarian and Serbian sections are built, Hungary is ready to receive gas,” he explained.

Recall earlier it became known that Bulgaria has joined the Turkish Stream gas pipeline construction project. Serbia has also shown its interest.
