After the Senate had passed a peace agreement, the vote in the House of Representatives was held, which unanimously adopted the agreement.

At the same time 19 members of the opposition "Democratic Centre", headed by former President  Álvaro Uribe and strongly opposed to this peace accord with the FARC, were out in the hall during the vote.

The representative of the lower house in Bogota and the Human Rights Commissioner Alirio Uribe said that now all Colombians and the public authorities had to perform the terms of this peace accord.
